Philippine won’t declare war vs China over sea dispute – Political analyst

(Eagle News) — The Philippines won’t declare war against China, this was according to Political analyst Ramon Casiple.

In an interview in Net 25’s Liwanagin Natin, Casiple said that the Philippines will not declare war against China over the sea dispute, because the Philippine government through President Rodrigo Duterte wants friendly ties with China.

Casiple also said that our country and China have already built many plans and projects together, a reason for the Philippines will not go opt for hostilities with China.

At the same time, I doubt kung ganun ka-immediate o ganoon kalaki ang usaping na yan kasi nga nagliligawan tayo at ang China. Marami tayong pinag-uusapan na mga common project and etcetera at nagsimula na tayo ng proseso sa pag-uusap ng mga claim na yan,” Casiple said.

Casiple also said that territorial claim is not an easy topic; therefore the two countries could find a common ground which they can both agree on.
