QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The death toll resulting from the collision of a tourist bus into an electric post in Tanay, Rizal rose to fifteen.
Tanay PNP Chief Inspector Christopher Dela Peña confirmed the number of dead and added that the tourist bus has 58 passengers, with 30 injured.
The victims were students of the BestLink College in Novaliches, Quezon City.
According to Tanay Disaster Risk Disaster and Management Officer Carlos Onofre, the students were en route to a camping site for a required activity in their National Service Training Program.
