(Eagle News)–The Department of Transportation on Saturday, Nov. 10, gave the assurance there would be no hike in MRT-3 fares even with the planned rehablitation of the trains.
Batan made the statement after the Philippines and Japan signed a loan pact for the rehabilitation that would cover the rehab of rail tracks, power supply, components of MRT-3, among others.
The project will finish in 2022.
