Amid snafu, QCPD members given Dengvaxia shots, their families express worries

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) – Amid the snafu, more than 1, 000 members of the Quezon City Police District and their families have expressed worries they would experience the adverse effects of the controversial dengue vaccine Dengvaxia.

Quezon City Police District Director Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar gave them the assurance though that the government will give them the support that they need at all times.

He added they have already coordinated with the Philippine Children’s Medical Center, which is still monitoring all those who were administered the vaccine.
