25 minute pyromusical kicks off INC centennial

And it started with a bang.

A 25-minute pyromusical show, featuring a wide array of lights, fireworks and sounds kicked off one of the most anticipated events of the year: The 100th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC).

Millions of members of the influential religious group craned their necks upward for nearly half an hour at the Ciudad De Victoria in Bocaue, Bulacan to witness the display.

The pyromusical started several minutes before 12 midnight celebration and lasted until about 12:18 am.

Various Christian songs including the much-hyped “Sasapit Na Ang Sentenaryo”, blasted over the speakers and were part of the highlights of the pyromusical.

Prayers, plays, musicals and other celebratory activities are laid out to follow Sunday, and is actually expected to continue throughout next week.

About 2 to 3 million people were expected to attend the event. Tens of thousands of vehicles trooped from different parts of Metro Manila and provinces to Bocaue as early as Saturday morning.
