QUEZON City, Philppines – The Department of National Defense admitted that Japan’s offer of five of its warplanes for rent will go a long way to enhance the defense capability of the Armed Forces of the Philippines – including humanitarian assistance, disaster response and maritime security. The DND did not disclose the cost of the rent of the five Japanese warplanes.
