National Crime Prevention Week

QUEZON City, Philippines – Stories and cases of different crimes are now becoming usual scenarios. This is why the National Police Commission or Napolcom continuously reminds the public to stay alert.

The National Crime Prevention Week is observed every first week of September in pursuant to Proclamation No. 461 signed on Aug. 31, 1994 by then President Fidel Ramos.

In line with the theme “Pamayanang Mapagmasid, Kapayapaan ang Maihahatid (A watchful community will lead to peace),” the Napolcom has brought its crime prevention campaigns to malls to raise people’s participation in creating a secure and safe environment for everyone.
