(Eagle News) — Controversial drug lord Kerwin Espinosa has been arrested in Abu Dhabi, according to Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa.
Espinosa was arrested on Monday (October 17) at 2 a.m.
Dela Rosa said that they received information from overseas Filipino workers in Abu Dhabi, which led to the arrest of the young Espinosa.
Kerwin is expected to be transported back to the country.
The PNP chief said that the Abu Dhabi police helped in the arrest of Kerwin, the son of Albuera, Leyte mayor Rolando Espinosa who was recently arrested by the police and is facing charged for illegal possession of firearms.
