(Eagle News)– Former security aide and driver of Senator Leila de Lima, Ronnie Dayan, was arrested in La Union Tuesday (November 22) morning.
Dayan will be transported to Manila and may be presented to the media by Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa, said Senior Superintendent Leo Francisco.
Dayan was arrested by personnel of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-La Union, Provincial Police Office La Union, Provincial Police Office Pangasinan, and the Bacnotan police station.
A P1-million reward has been offered for the arrest of Dayan.
Dayan is allegedly the one who collected drug money for De Lima.
Earlier, De Lima admitted that she and Dayan had a romantic relationship.
