4.2-magnitude earthquake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur early Sunday, June 2.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the earthquake, of tectonic origin, struck 67 kilometers southeast of Lingig at 1:14 a.m.

Depth of focus was two kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
