(Eagle News)–The Palace has declared Aug. 12, Monday, a holiday in observance of Eid al-Adha or the Muslim Feast of Sacrifice.
No official document declaring the same has been released as of yet, but Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea said this would be made available before noon.
It was unclear yet if this would be a regular holiday or a special non-working holiday.
For Muslims, Eid al-Adha is celebrated in commemoration of the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son to follow the command of God.
