MANILA, Philippines — All vice-presidential candidates are in favor of holding telephone companies accountable for the very slow internet connection in the country.
In the latest vice-presidential debate aired over CNN Philippines, the candidates all answered “yes” when asked if the telcos should be put to task for the country’s slow internet speed.
Many of the candidates stated that local telephone companies should not have the monopoly of the industry.
