Typhoon Butchoy continues to move away from Phl

(Eagle News) –Typhoon Nepartak or “Butchoy” has crossed Southern Taiwan and continued to move away from the country.

All Tropical Cyclone warning signals are now lifted.
The  estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 600 km diameter of the typhoon.

Fisherfolk are advised not to venture out over the seaboards of Northern Luzon and the western seaboards of Central and Southern Luzon.

“Butchoy” will continue to enhance the Southwest monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy over the provinces of Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Zambales, Bataan, Batangas, Pangasinan, Calamian group of Islands and Mindoro

As of 4 p.m., eye of the typhoon was located 365 kilometers northwest of Itbayat, Batanes.  It is forecast to move northwest at 12 kph.

By Saturday afternoon, the typhoon is forecast to be 595 kilometers northwest of Itbayat, Batanes.
