Tugade orders lifestyle check on all LTO officials, employees

(Eagle News)–Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade has ordered a lifestyle check on all Land Transportation Office employees and officials.

This is according to LTO assistant secretary Edgar Galvante, who issued a memo ordering the administrative and finance divisions of the central and regional offices to prepare the latest Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth of all those concerned under their jurisdiction in compliance with Tugade’s order.

In the July 29 memo, Galvante said these should be submitted to the Human Resource Development Section of the Central Office on or before Aug. 16.

Galvante also ordered all LTO officials and employees to “comply, adhere, report and submit all the necessary documents as required by the government authorities” such as the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission, the National Bureau of Investigation and the Ombudsman.

“For strict compliance,” Galvante said.
