Says raps to be filed vs PTV4, Tourism officials, too
(Eagle News)–Senator Antonio Trillanes IV vowed to pursue plunder charges against former Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo and her brother, Erwin and Ben, over the tourism ad placement mess.
In a statement, Trillanes said he would also hold accountable PTV4 and Tourism officials.
“Maliwanag pa sa sikat ng araw na lahat ng elemento ng krimen na plunder ay ginawa ng magkakapatid na sina Ben Tulfo, Erwin Tulfo at Wanda Teo at ilang opisyales ng DOT at PTV4,” he said.
For instance, he said Teo’s alibi she did not know “Kilos Pronto” was run by Ben was “not believable.”
“Kilos Pronto,” the Commission on Audit said, received millions worth of ad placements from the Department of Tourism then led by Teo.
As for Erwin, Trillanes said he himself admitted he “benefited” from the transaction “dahil siya ay kumikita ng P150 thousand na sweldo kada episode o mahigit 3 milyon kada buwan.”
“Tuloy-tuloy ang pagsampa ko ng kasong plunder laban sa kanila,” he said.
