(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory was hoisted over parts of Northern Luzon on Wednesday, June 5.
In its 12:58 p.m. advisory, Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are expected over Pangasinan and Nueva Vizcaya within the next 2 hours.
The weather bureau advised the public to “take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards.”
“Residents of mountain slopes are advised of possible landslides mudslides, rock slides and flash floods,” PAGASA said.
“Keep monitoring for updates,” it added.
