Thunderstorm advisory hoisted over N. Luzon

(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over Northern Luzon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorm are being experienced over Aurora, Quirino, Southern Isabela, and over Dupax del Sur,  Dupax del Norte, Alfonso Castaneda, Kayapa and Aritao in Nueva Vizcaya.

These conditions may  persist within 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas, the weather bureau said.

PAGASA advised all to “take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards.”

“Residents along mountain slopes are advised for possible landslides, mudslides, rockslides and flashfloods,” PAGASA said.
