(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over Metro Manila and other areas.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said heavy to intense rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are particularly being experienced in Quezon City and Manila; and in Hagonoy in Bulacan; Masantol in Pampanga; and in Santa Cruz, Candelaria, Masinloc, Palauig, San Felipe, San Narciso, San Antonio in Zambales.
PAGASA said these may persist within two hours and may affect nearby areas.
Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are also expected over Tarlac, Bataan and Rizal within the next two hours.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
