Bersamin gets moderate rating
(Eagle News)–Net satisfaction ratings for the top four highest-ranking government officials after President Rodrigo Duterte ranged from very good to moderate, the Social Weather Stations survey said.
The SWS survey conducted from September 27 to 30 pegged Senate President Tito Sotto’s at very good, with +61, while Vice President Leni Robredo’s was at good, with +33.
Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano’s rating with SWS was at a “good” +49, while Chief Justice Bersamin got a moderate +16 rating.
These translate to 56% satisfied and 23% dissatisfied with the performance of Robredo, 72% satisfied and 11% dissatisfied with Sotto’s performance, 64% satisfied and 14% dissatisfied with Cayetano’s, and 35% satisfied and 19% dissatisfied with Bersamin’s.
The survey also found 69% satisfied and 13% dissatisfied with the performance of Senate, with a net satisfaction rating of a very good +56, 57% satisfied and 14% dissatisfied with the House of Representatives, with a good +43; 57% satisfied and 16% dissatisfied with the Supreme Court, with a good +41; and 51% satisfied and 16% dissatisfied with the Cabinet as a whole, or a good +35.
The poll was conducted using face-to-face interviews of 1,800 adults (18 years old and above) nationwide: 600 each in Balance Luzon and Mindanao, and 300 each in Metro Manila and the Visayas.
Sampling error margins were pegged at ±2.3% for national percentages, ±4% each for Balance Luzon and Mindanao, and ±6% each for Metro Manila and the Visayas.
