Suspected Abu Sayyaf members abduct gov’t engineer in Sulu

(Eagle News) — Suspected  members of the Abu Sayyaf abducted a government engineer in Sulu on Wednesday.

The police said Enrico Nee, a Department of Public Works and Highways drill supervisor, was  leaving his house in Barangay Upper San Raymundo in Jolo when the abduction took place around 8 a.m.

The suspects fled toward Barangay Anuling in Patikul on board a vehicle.

Authorities are now conducting an investigation.
