(Eagle News) — ACTS OFW party-list Rep. John Bertiz has been confined in the hospital.
This is according to House Minority Leader Danilo Suarez, who spoke in a press conference on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
According to Suarez, Bertiz has been confined since Tuesday, Oct. 2, after suffering from chest pains.
Earlier, Bertiz earned the ire of netizens after he was seen shoving his all-access pass at a Ninoy Aquino International Airport employee who had allegedly asked him to take his shoes off as part of security protocol.
Bertiz apologized, but said he was only irked because several foreigners were allowed to pass without undergoing the security check.
