Tonight marks the third game of the semifinals between the Star Hotshots and Barangay Ginebra, and with the latter’s backs against the wall, this promises a grueling match-up to watch out for.
The Star Hotshots is at an advantage with a 2-0 lead, but they cannot be complacent as both games were tight. Star won by just 4 points in Game 1 (78-74), and was down by only 2 points in Game 2 (91-89).
However, with the Hotshots living up to their name for winning eight straight games, Ginebra has no choice but to steal their thunder.
And Ginebra could do just that with forward Joe Devance said to be coming back for Game 3, who should be of much help after being sidelined due to foot injury since the quarterfinals, not to mention Tim Cone’s coaching prowess, whom Star knows more than anyone else.
The game is set to take place at Mall of Asia Arena at 7pm
