(Eagle News)–Two senators had a perfect attendance in the 17th Congress.
A Senate statement said Senate President Tito Sotto and Senator Panfilo Lacson accomplished the same in the first and second regular sessions in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, Minority Leader Franklin Drilon, and Senators Gringo Honasan, Koko Pimentel and Joel Villanueva on the other hand were able to attend all plenary sessions of the third regular session from July 23, 2018 to June 4.
Sotto, Lacson, Zubiri and Honasan also had no records of tardiness.
They did not call in sick or had records of being on official missions.
Below is the attendance of the other senators in the third regular session:
- Nancy Binay– 60 plenary sessions, with one session day missed because of an official mission abroad
- Sherwin Gatchalian, JV Ejercito and Cynthia Villar– 58 session days
- Risa Hontiveros and Antonio Trillanes IV– 57 session days.
- Sonny Angara – 56 session days
- Grace Poe – 56 session days
- Loren Legarda – 56 session days
- Ralph Recto – 55 session days
- Francis Escudero – 55 session days
- Richard Gordon – 54 session days
- Bam Aquino – 50 session days
- Manny Pacquiao – 49 session days
- Kiko Pangilinan – 47 session days
