(Eagle News)–The son of former boxer Rolando Navarrete was shot dead in General Santos on Monday night.
A dzbb radio report said Rolando Velarde Navarette, 24, was walking in Barangay Lagao when he was attacked by two men on board a motorcycle at 7:35 p.m.
He was at that time accompanied by his live-in partner.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
The younger Navarrete, who was tagged in illegal drug activities, recently surrendered to authorities.
