Leyte Congressman Martin Romualdez challenged Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas to lead the movement to lower income tax rates and to ask his allied lawmakers so that said proposal moves forward in the Congress.
Earlier, Speaker of the House, Sonny Belmonte admitted that said proposal has low chance of passing in the 15th Congress due to the lack of support from President Benigno S. Aquino III.
