Six hurt in hostage-taking incident in Manila

(Eagle News)—–Six people were hurt in a hostage-taking incident in Manila on Monday, Dec. 17.

Authorities said this was after Dominador Abrillo, 38, fired several shots using the gun he allegedly grabbed from Philippine National Railways guard Johnrel Jabonillo.

Abrillo, who allegedly also took hostage a five-year-old boy at the Philippine National Railways Station in Sta. Mesa, reportedly went berserk when he learned his brother had been killed in a police operation in Pampanga.

The victims are being treated at a nearby hospital.
