Sison: Duterte is the number 1 violator of human rights, not me

(Eagle News)–Communist Party of the Philippines founder Jose Maria Sison on Tuesday, Dec. 25,  accused President Rodrigo Duterte anew of being a mass murderer, saying he is the “abominable no.1 violator of human rights.”

In a statement posted on his Facebook page, Sison said it was Duterte who has “brazenly used his armed minions to commit mass murders and human rights violations.”

Sison made the comment in response to Duterte’s claim it was the CPP founder who was a human rights violator.

The President in a speech on Saturday also ordered the Army to “destroy” the Communist rebels.

His comment came after his former Special Assistant Bong Go said the chief executive was interested in pursuing peace negotiations.

According to Sison,  Duterte has also “arrogantly pushed his scheme of fascist dictatorship through charter change for a bogus federalism.”

“He has imposed an intolerable tax burden on the people and has caused the prices of basic services to soar,” he said, adding Duterte has “treasonously sold out the sovereign rights and the national patrimony of the Filipino people.”
