(Eagle News) — Metro Manila policemen deployed for the Southeast Asian Games will receive a P300 daily meal allowance.
This is according to National Capital Region Police Office chief Debold Sinas, who gave the assurance on Friday, Nov. 29, that his men were well taken care of.
“Lahat ‘yan sa first pa lang na deployment, you receive P500 saka P100, for the allowance and cellphone (load)..,” he added.
In Metro Manila, he said around 10,000 policemen have already been deployed for the sporting event.
All in all, 27000 policemen have been deployed across the country for the biennial event.
He said as of 6 a.m., 1,680 athletes have already been billeted in 27 venues in the metropolis.
