QUEZON City, Philippines – Incoming President Rodrigo Duterte and incoming Vice President Leni Robredo will have separate inauguration ceremonies.
According to Robredo’s transition team, they are preparing for a joint inauguration ceremony when they were informed by Duterte’s team that the President-elect is planning to conduct a separate inauguration ceremony.
Robredo’s team added that her inauguration will be conducted in Metro Manila and that she will be sworn in by the chairman of the smallest, farthest and poorest barangay in Camarines Sur.
On the other hand, Duterte’s team had earlier said that he will have a simple inauguration ceremony at the Malacañang.
