MANILA, Philippines – Several senators expressed condemnation against the violent police dispersal of the protesting farmers in Kidapawan City, Cotabato. According to Senator Miriam-Defensor Santiago, said dispersal was in violation of the farmers’ constitutional rights while Senator Grace Poe will file a resolution ordering the investigation of the said incident.
