Senate will not re-open investigation on extra-judicial killings

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Senate has no plans to re-open its investigation on extra-judicial killings even if other witnesses reveal themselves during the investigation of the representatives from the  United Nations.

According to Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights Chairman Senator Richard Gordon, the investigation proved that the government is not behind the killings but drug lords and drug syndicates to ensure that no one will testify against them.
