Second alarm hoisted over Marikina River as water level reaches 16 meters

(Eagle News) — A second alarm has been hoisted over the Marikina River amid the incessant rains.

In a Facebook post, the Marikina City Rescue 161 said water level in the river has reached 16 meters.

The monsoon rains have prompted the Palace to issue Memorandum Circular No. 47, suspending work classes in public schools and government offices in Metro Manila.
