(Eagle News)–There will be no work in Manila courts on Monday, June 24.
The Supreme Court made the announcement in a Tweet on Tuesday, June 18.
According to the SC, this was in view of Proclamation No. 731 , series of 2019, that declared the day a special non-working holiday in Manila.
The proclamation, signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, said this was to allow the people of Manila to participate in activities organized in celebration of the city’s 448th foundation anniversary.
