(Eagle News) — The local government of San Carlos City, Pangasinan through its City Disaster Risk Management Office is on high alert in preparations for typhoon “Ompong.”
CDRRMO Head Bernabe Bacani said that they have already conducted meetings about the calamity response, rescue and evacuation as part of their preparations.
Bacani also said that they already alerted the clearing operations team.
The official also added that they already visited different schools in the area that will serve as evacuation centers.
The ocular and visitation aims to ensure that the evacuation areas have necessary utilities and other facilities that will be used by the affected residents and families.
