QUEZON City, Philippines – Leyte Representative Martin Romualdez expressed his desire to create a Department of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management that will handle the government’s response regarding disasters as well as ensuring that the aid and relief goods will be delivered to the disaster victims.
