(Eagle News)–Vice President Leni Robredo on Wednesday, July 31, visited victims of recent earthquakes in Itbayat, Batanes.
A statement from Robredo’s office said she went there to “personally inspect the damage of the earthquake and to distribute relief goods to the affected community.”
At least eight people were killed after a series of earthquakes, the one with the highest magnitude at 5.9, struck the province over the weekend.
President Rodrigo Duterte vowed to give P40 million for the construction of a new clinic after the hospital there was damaged.
