Robredo says she had to self-quarantine after exposure to COVID-19-positive patient

(Eagle News) — Vice President Leni Robredo on Sunday, Aug. 1, disclosed she had to self-quarantine after getting exposed to a COVID-19-positive patient last week.

Robredo  said in her weekly radio program that she already took a swab test, which turned out negative for COVID-19.

“Bukas balik na tayo sa opisina,” she said.

Robredo had to attend the State of the Nation Address virtually because she was unable to get her second COVID-19 vaccine dose.

Organizers had required attendees in Batasang Pambansa to be fully vaccinated.

The Department of Health has confirmed the local transmission of the Delta variant in the Philippines.
