(Eagle News) –The lawyer of Vice President Leni Robredo on Thursday slammed former Senator Bongbong Marcos’ spokesperson for his calls she resign following allegations some “unused ballots”  had been pre-shaded in her favor in the 2016 elections.

According to Macalintal, it should be Vic Rodriguez who should resign  as spokesperson for “supplying the wrong information” to Marcos.

He also called Rodriguez’s statement “a nonsense statement,” which he said “does not deserve to be dignified with any answer at all.”

Rodriguez made the calls for Robredo to resign following the supposed discovery on the third day of the manual ballot recount in connection with Marcos’ electoral protest against her.

The initial recount covers three pilot provinces of Camarines Sur, Iloilo and Negros Oriental.
