Red rainfall warning still hoisted over M. Manila, Rizal as “Karding” continues to enhance the southwest monsoon

(Eagle News)—-A red rainfall warning remains hoisted over Metro Manila and Rizal even as Tropical Storm “Karding” has already exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its advisory at 8 p.m. that “Karding” continues to enhance the southwest monsoon, bringing rains in parts of the country.

An orange warning level is up over Cavite, Bataan, Zambales, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga and Bulacan.

A yellow warning level, on the other hand, is in place over Tarlac, Batangas, Laguna and northern Quezon.

Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains will persist in Quezon in the next three hours.
