As the Philippine National Police will conduct re-commemoration activities to honor the 44 fallen Special Action Force Commandos on January 25, Senator Grace Poe, chairman of the Senate Committee on Public Order, allowed that the re-opening of the Mamasapano incident investigation be set on January 27, to give chance to PNP members so that they can attend said re-investigation.
