Rains to prevail in parts of PHL today, May 30

(Eagle News)–Rains are expected in parts of the country today, May 30, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the weather bureau said Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms as a frontal system affects Northern Luzon.

The weather bureau said flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are possible.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, this time due to localized thunderstorms.

Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters.
