(Eagle News)–Rains are still expected in the country as the southwest monsoon continues to affect the Philippine archipelago.
In its recent bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, Mindoro Provinces, and Palawan will particularly experience monsoon rains.
Flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate with at times heavy monsoon rains are expected.
Western Visayas and the rest of Luzon, on the other hand, will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Pagasa said the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Extreme Northern Luzon is expected to have strong winds and rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough waters.
