Rains expected in parts of country today

 

(Eagle News)—Rains are expected in several parts of the country on New Year’s eve.

In an advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric and Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are expected over Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur and nearby areas.

PAGASA said the rains may persist within one to two hours.

According to PAGASA, the same is now being experienced in Albay, Catanduanes and Sorsogon.

Light to moderate rains are also affecting Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Rizal, Laguna, Batangas, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, Nueva Ecija and Quezon.
