President Duterte safe in Davao after 6.5-magnitude quake in Mindanao — Palace

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte is safe in Davao City following the 6.5-magnitude earthquake that hit Mindanao on Thursday, Oct. 31.

This was the assurance given by the Palace after announcing the President was in Davao when the quake struck.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the earthquake was recorded at 9:11 a.m. in Tulunan town in Cotabato.

This was only two days after a 6.6-magnitude tremor hit the same area, leaving several dead and scores injured.
