(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte is open to giving a Cabinet post to JV Ejercito, who failed to get reelected to the Senate in the May 13 elections.
“Nanghinayang ako kay JV. But anyway he’s still young. Cabinet naman diyan kung may bakante,” Duterte said before members of the Filipino community in Tokyo, Japan, where the chief executive is on a working visit.
Ejercito landed 13th in the final official Commission on Elections tally, outside the winning circle, with 14,313,727 votes.
