President Duterte offers help to flood-hit Japan

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte has offered to help Japan in its rescue and rehabilitation efforts.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said the President in a Cabinet meeting revealed doctors, engineers and soldiers would be deployed to areas hit by flooding and landslides in the western part of the country.

Roque said according to the President, medicines would also be sent.

Over 100 people have died in what has been dubbed as Japan’s worst disaster brought about by rains since 1982.
