President Duterte formally appoints Dela Rosa as new BuCor chief, Guerrero as new MARINA administrator

(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has formally appointed retired Philippine National Police Chief Ronald dela Rosa and retired Armed Forces of the Philippines chief Rey Leonardo Guerrero to new posts in government.

Dela Rosa was appointed the new director general of the Bureau of Corrections, while Guerrero was appointed as the Maritime Industry Authority’s new administrator.

Their terms will last until July 2022, appointment papers released by the Palace on Thursday, May 3, said.

President Duterte already made the announcement about Dela Rosa’s and Guerrero’s new positions during the police’s and military’s change of command ceremonies.
