QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte blamed the Aquino administration for the alarming illegal drug situation of the country, departing from his previous pronouncement during his State of the Nation Address that he would not dwell on the mistakes of the past administration.
But on Tuesday, President Duterte said that he was only able to find out how widespread the illegal drug problem is after taking the presidency.
He added that the former administration’s negligence regarding the problem on illegal drugs cannot be denied.
