President Duterte abolishes all PNP anti-illegal drug units

MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte ordered the  abolition of all anti-illegal drugs units of the Philippine National Police (PNP) after the killing incident of the Korean businessman, Jee-Ick-Joo inside the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame.
President Duterte said he felt humiliated because of the police involvement in the abduction and killing of the Korean national.
“You put the name of the PNP and other policemen in shambles,” Duterte said, as he also warned one of the alleged police suspects Supt. Rafael Dumlao, who has been tagged as the mastermind in the kidnap-slay.
According to the President,  will be the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) which will be in  charge of all anti-illegal drug operations.  He said he would put up a new anti-narcotics command that will also be directed by PDEA
