Pres. Duterte to Senator De Lima: “You need to take a break”

Senator Leila De Lima became emotional and hysterical as she faced the senate media in a press conference. De Lima is claiming that the reported riot at the New Bilibid Prison on Wednesday morning (September 28,2016)  was a tactic of the administration to persuade prisoners to testify against her.

MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — After Senator Leila De Lima’s emotional outburst during her press conference in Senate, President Rodrigo R. Duterte advised her to take a break.

The president, during his speech at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), said contrary to De Lima’s accusations, Duterte said, he is actually the one being oppressed.

Duterte said De Lima had in fact, asked the United Nations to investigate him on alleged extra judicial killings in the country.

He also said that the most serious charge against the senator may be the allegation that she used drug money for her senatorial campaign.
